## How to do the Suspension Trainer Decline Push-Up

1. Place your feet in the straps and your hands on the floor, wider than your shoulders.
2. Straighten your body to form a straight line from heels through hips to head.
3. Bend your elbows and lower your chest towards the floor, keeping your body straight throughout.
4. Push yourself back up to the starting position, straightening your arms fully at the top.

### Full technique — 8 steps

1. Adjust the suspension trainer so the handles hang about knee height from the floor.
2. Place one foot in each handle and set your hands on the floor slightly wider than shoulder width.
3. Walk your hands out until your body forms a straight line from heels through hips to head.
4. Keep your torso rigid by squeezing your glutes, tightening your stomach, and keeping your neck neutral.
5. Bend your elbows and lower your chest toward the floor with elbows angled slightly back.
6. Descend until your chest is just above the floor without letting your hips sag or pike.
7. Press through your palms to drive your body upward as one unit.
8. Finish at the top with elbows straight and shoulders directly over your hands.

- Elbows flaring straight out
