## How to do the Standing Mini Band External Rotation

1. Loop a mini band around both wrists and stand tall.
2. Hold one arm forward and keep the working elbow at your side.
3. Rotate the working forearm outward against the band, then return slowly.
4. Finish reps, then switch sides.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Stand tall with feet about hip width apart and a mini band looped around both wrists.
2. Hold one arm straight out in front of you at chest height to anchor the band.
3. Bend the working elbow to about 90 degrees, keep it at your side, and point the forearm across your body.
4. Rotate the forearm outward against the band while the elbow stays at your side.
5. Stop when the forearm points straight ahead or slightly outward.
6. Return the forearm across your body under band tension.
7. Complete all reps on one side, then switch arms.

## Common mistakes

- Shrugging shoulders toward ears
- Letting the front arm drop
- Letting the band snap back

## Form cues

- Keep upper arm still
- Keep shoulders down
- Wrists stay neutral
- Keep torso fixed
