## How to do the Standing Concentration Curl

1. Lean forward with a slight knee bend, free hand on your thigh.
2. Let the dumbbell hang straight down below your shoulder.
3. Curl it toward your opposite shoulder, keeping your upper arm still.
4. Lower to full elbow extension, then switch arms after the set.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Stand with feet about shoulder width apart, holding one dumbbell in one hand.
2. Bend your knees slightly, push your hips back, and lean your torso forward until it is nearly parallel to the floor.
3. Rest your free hand on the thigh above your knee and let the working arm hang straight down.
4. Curl the dumbbell toward your opposite shoulder by bending the elbow, keeping your upper arm vertical.
5. Squeeze the biceps at the top without lifting your torso or shoulder.
6. Lower the dumbbell until the elbow is fully extended.
7. Finish all reps on one side, then switch arms and match the same standard.

## Form cues

- Palm stays up
