### Full technique — 8 steps

1. Stand tall with feet hip-width apart and arms at your sides.
2. Shift your weight onto one leg and step the other leg straight back onto the ball of the foot.
3. Lower until your hips approach front knee level and your back knee moves close to the floor.
4. Keep your torso upright over the front leg with the front foot planted flat.
5. Drive through the whole front foot to stand and swing the back leg forward.
6. Raise that knee to hip height in front of you while you balance on the front leg.
7. Step the raised leg straight back into the next lunge.
