4. Return the handles to the starting position above your head slowly.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Anchor the band low behind you and lie on your back on the floor with the anchor beyond your head.
2. Bend your knees and set your feet flat on the floor.
3. Hold a handle in each hand with arms extended overhead and the band under tension.
4. Keep a slight bend in your elbows and set your shoulders down away from your ears.
5. Sweep both handles over your body in an arc by driving your upper arms toward your hips.
6. Finish with your hands near your thighs without bending your elbows further.
7. Return along the same arc until your arms are overhead and lats fully lengthened.

- Letting ribs flare hard
- Stopping short of overhead stretch
- Letting the band snap arms back
