# Outdoor Gym Lat Pulldown

A seated vertical pull on an outdoor-park lever station. Each hand pulls its own lever handle down from overhead, and because the seat is linked to the levers, each pull lifts part of your bodyweight. It trains the lats, upper back and biceps.

4. Let the handles rise slowly back to full reach.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Sit on the seat with your back against the backrest and your feet flat on the ground.
2. Reach up and grip the end of each lever handle with your arms nearly straight overhead.
3. Set your shoulders down and back before the first pull.
4. Pull both handles down by driving your elbows down toward your sides until your hands reach head height.
5. Pause briefly at the bottom with your torso upright and your shoulders down.
6. Let the handles rise under control until your arms are nearly straight overhead again.
7. Start the next rep from the full overhead reach without bouncing the seat.
