## How to do the Mini Band Lateral Walk

1. Place a mini band around your feet and stand with your feet hip-width apart.
2. Bend your knees slightly and step sideways, feeling the band pull gently.
3. Keep your knees from caving inward as you step, toes pointed mostly forward.
4. Continue stepping sideways, then reverse direction for a full set.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Place a mini band around your feet or just above your knees and stand tall.
2. Set your feet hip-width apart, then bend your knees and hips into a shallow athletic stance.
3. Tighten your stomach and keep your toes pointed mostly forward as you create tension on the band.
4. Step sideways with the lead foot without letting your knees cave inward.
5. Follow with the trailing foot until you return to hip-width stance, keeping band tension throughout.
6. Continue for several controlled steps in one direction without letting your feet come together.
7. Reverse directions and repeat the same stepping pattern to the opposite side.
