## How to do the Kneeling Resistance Band Crunch

1. Kneel facing away, with band overhead and hips over knees.
2. Hold both band strands beside your head with elbows bent.
3. Exhale and curl your ribcage down toward your pelvis.
4. Bring elbows toward thighs while keeping hips mostly still.
5. Uncurl slowly back to tall kneeling under band tension.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Drape the middle of a long resistance band over a high rack crossbar and kneel facing away from the rack.
2. Hold one band strand beside each side of your head with elbows bent and hips directly over your knees.
3. Set your torso tall, keep your hips mostly fixed, and create tension in the band.
4. Exhale and curl your ribcage down toward your pelvis by flexing through your spine.
5. Bring your elbows toward your thighs as your trunk folds, without pulling the band with your arms.
6. Reach the end range when your abs are fully shortened and your torso is curled forward.
7. Inhale and uncurl slowly back to the tall kneeling start position.

## Common mistakes

- Letting the band yank you up
- Using momentum to start reps

## Form cues
