## How to do the Feet Elevated Staggered Stance Barbell Glute Bridge

1. Lie on your back, bar across your hips, heels on a box.
2. Place one foot closer to your hips than the other.
3. Push through the nearer heel until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees.
4. Slowly lower your hips back towards the floor, feeling a stretch in your glutes.
5. Finish reps, then switch sides.

### Full technique — 8 steps

1. Lie on your back on the floor with the barbell settled across your hips.
2. Rest both heels on top of a box, one foot close to your hips and the other a half step further out.
3. Hold the bar in place with an overhand grip, hands just outside your hips.
4. Tighten your stomach, lower your chin slightly toward your chest, and keep your ribs in line with your pelvis.
5. Push mainly through the heel nearer your hips and extend your hips until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to knees.
6. At the top, squeeze your glutes hard without arching your lower back or flaring your ribs.
7. Lower your hips under control until your glutes return close to the floor, then begin the next rep.
8. Complete all reps on one side, then switch legs and repeat.
