## How to do the EZ Bar Preacher Curl

1. Sit on the preacher bench, positioning your arms comfortably on the pad.
2. Grip the EZ bar on the angled sections, palms facing up.
3. Pull the bar up by bending your elbows, keeping your upper arms still.
4. Slowly lower the bar back down to the starting position.

### Full technique — 7 steps

1. Adjust the preacher bench so your armpits sit near the top edge of the pad.
2. Sit down and place the backs of your upper arms flat against the pad.
3. Grip the EZ bar on its angled sections with an underhand grip about shoulder width.
4. Start with the bar low in front of the pad and your elbows nearly straight.
5. Curl the bar upward by bending your elbows without letting your upper arms leave the pad.
6. Raise the bar until your forearms are nearly vertical and the biceps fully shorten.
7. Lower the bar back down under control until your elbows are nearly straight again.
