### Full technique — 8 steps

1. Place the barbell across your upper back and stand facing a tall box.
2. Set one foot fully on top of the box, keeping the other foot on the floor.
3. Tighten your stomach and keep your torso tall.
4. Drive through the whole planted foot to raise your body onto the box.
5. As you rise, drive the other knee up in front until your thigh is parallel to the floor.
6. Balance briefly on the box leg with that hip and knee fully extended.
7. Lower the raised foot back to the floor under control, keeping the other foot on the box.
8. Complete all reps on one side before switching legs.
